We have always needed 3 tees in FL for men not just 2 given the range of players we have. Women will play the course womens tees.
Players do not get to pick their tees. Each tour director assigns the tee most similar to what that player plays on a regular basis.
All the tees we will be using are typically the same or a bit shorter than normal for pace of play, and players not as familiar with playing Florida courses.

PGT Roster with Flights and Tees Played

I want everyone to understand that each tour director was required to submit their full roster of players with GHIN numbers and the tee they thought best fit that players.
There was some confusion anoung the four tours in that flights were based on the above index ranges after the rosters were submitted.
Also tees were refered to by various names between the tour's which let to some confusion.
Originally I was under the impression that there would be 2 tee options for men. One regular 6000-6200 and one shorter at under 6000.
We are all leaning toward making the setup shorter overall than what we normally play at home because of course conditions and pace of play.
Also using low index in October would calculate your playing handicap for tees played.
It was unknown at the time of roster submission what the exact tee setup on each course would be.
Apparently at some point after roster submission flights were assigned certain tees and there was a long option as well which PGT was unaware of.

The following roster is what PGT submitted so you can see that players were assigned by PGT correctly.
So, your tee assignment may different than what you think it should have been.
PGT thought all flights would be similar setups, but the other three tours voted differently assigning tee names to different flights.

Bottom line, the tee you will be playing may be different than posted above so verify it on Day 1 of the tournament and it will be written accordingly on your score cards.
