PGT at Olde Stonewall, Sunday May 1, 2022---PCS tournament #4


Sunday tee times start at 1pm.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.... a $1 service fee may be charged for each mistake that is made when posting your score to GHIN.  That is up to $5 depending on how many incorrect numbers are in a post on a single round, or if a round is not posted.  It is important to double check your numbers before posting.  That is the date, course, tees (slope and rating), Competition round, and adjusted score.  Way too many players are continuously posting their rounds incorrectly, posting days after the round, or not posting at all.  The information is provided every week on this page, the results page, and displayed at the registration table at every event.
We understand that mistakes are made sometimes, but some players are making the same mistakes over and over.  Some players are not taking this seriously or rushing and it is causing too much extra work checking and editing posted errors.  The data entered into GHIN is critical to protecting the field in net score play.
ANY SERVICE FEES COLLECTED WILL BE ADDED INTO THE TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP BONUS PURSE.

#REMINDER-all players MUST post all their own rounds to GHIN or you will receive a penalty score.....and make sure it is posted as a COMPETITION round if it was a tournament.  Also, make sure slope and rating (tees played) is correct.  If the PGT tournament tees have same slope and rating as course tees in data base, enter hole-by-hole scores.  If the tees you played are different than what is in the system, you can simply manually enter course name, slope, rating, and total 18 hole score (but you have to know if any hole is reduced (max per hole is par + 2 + however many strokes you get on that particular hole which is based on your GHIN index).  
Also, you must promptly get your round posted after play because the GHIN system updates players indexes every day.  You should strive to do this at the scoring table.
DO NOT leave the scoring table until your score card is reviewed, accepted, and posted on the main sheets.  You will be given what your number is to post onto GHIN because there could be a reduction (ESC).  This score to be posted on GHIN is based on your GHIN index playing handicap, not your PGT tournament index.
It only takes a minute to post your score, but please don't rush through the process and make a mistake.  Make sure all the data is entered correctly before you click the final post button.

Format: 18 hole individual NET stableford scoring--Gross score only on score card, points will be calculated at scoring table.

Flight handicap range and tees may vary based on final number of players.
Your PGT tournament index will be course adjusted based on the slope and rating of the tee you play for your playing handicap.

Locate registration table behind pro shop on patio to check in and pay entry fee.  Table opens at 12:30am. 
Check in at least a half hour before your tee time in case of changes and to have any questions answered.
Official score cards will be issued, scoring sheets displayed, and local rules for the day will be posted.
BE AT OR NEAR THE STARTING AREA AND FIRST TEE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR FINAL LISTED TEE TIME or you may be penalized.

All details will be finalized the day before and the following may still need to be changed.  Nothing is final until listed as final.
*NOTE--Listed times are approximate AND based on what happens at the course and the play out in front of us.  THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE WE CAN START EARLY.
Some adjustments may always need to be made, so arrive early enough to check in and warm up if there happens to be a last minute change.
DO NOT call PGT the morning of the event with questions.  Call the course for conditions, directions, frost delays, etc..  We will send out an email and make every attempt to contact the players if we find out the event is canceled.
Remember, If the course is open, you are obligated to pay and we will play unless there is an unusual circumstance (cold or rainy weather is not unusual).
